A 700-year-old Kakatiya-period stone temple complex preserving ancient hero stones (Veeragallu), Nandi mandapa, and sculpted Shaivite panels.
History & Story
Built on the outskirts of Patancheru during the late Kakatiya era, the Indreshwara Swamy Temple features stepped stone vimanas, granitic pillars, and warrior memorial stones commemorating soldiers who fell in battle during the 14th-century Deccan conflicts. The sanctum preserves an ancient Shiva linga.
