Ancient hilltop temple site dotted with monolithic stone Shiva lingas, medieval hero stones (Veeragallu), and boulder caves.

History & Story

According to tradition, Lord Rama consecrated thousands of lingas here to atone for slaying Ravana. The hill contains over 100 rock-cut and free-standing stone lingas dating to the Vishnukundina and Chalukya epochs, with forest trails behind the lake revealing warrior hero stones and panoramic views.
