A massive 25-acre fortified temple complex constructed in 1832 blending Rajasthani, European, and Qutb Shahi architectural traditions.
History & Story
Commissioned in 1832 by Seth Puranmal Ganeriwal, a wealthy banker to the Nizam, this sprawling complex looks like a fortress from outside, protected by 20-foot-high granite bastion walls. Inside, it houses ornate marble and stone shrines, European-style colonnades, stepwells, and residential quarters.
