Mahbub Mansion
A garden palace of the sixth Nizam near the old Malakpet racecourse. Much has been lost to encroachment and neglect; a fragment and gateway remain.
History & Story
A garden palace of the sixth Nizam near the old Malakpet racecourse, Mahbub Mansion once commanded wide views over the Musi valley and southern approaches to the city. Through the twentieth century its land was encroached upon and the main buildings fell into disrepair; today only a gateway and fragment of the original structure survive, surrounded by dense urban development that gives no indication of what the grounds once held.
