All Saints' Church
A cantonment church in coursed stone with a broach spire, its graveyard a record of garrison life in nineteenth-century Secunderabad.
History & Story
Built in coursed rubble stone with a broach spire visible from a distance, All Saints' served the expanding Secunderabad garrison community of the Crown Raj period. Its graveyard, shaded by old trees, records garrison life with a density found in few other places: officers' wives, young soldiers, children born in the cantonment, an intimate record of who lived and died in the military twin city over nearly two centuries.
